Tanabe’s unique cold-forming technology combines durability with a lightweight design.

Unlike hot forming, which involves heating and coiling, Tanabe uses non-heated, room-temperature forming (cold forming). By utilizing our unique double-shot peening process during the forming process, we impart a forged quality to the material and achieve a tensile strength of 2100N/mm. Tanabe’s unique forming process not only dramatically reduces settling but also reduces weight simultaneously.

Special coating that is highly resistant to rust and peeling

The base is treated with a “zinc phosphate coating” and a “cationic electrodeposition coating,” which are also used on genuine parts from car manufacturers. The coating is then strengthened with “powder coating,” dramatically improving durability and rust resistance against scratches and snow-removal agents.

Both manufacturing and steel materials are “Made in Japan.”

Tanabe springs are “in-house developed” and “manufactured” with a focus on safety and reliability.
