SARD DAMPER is installed in the front and rear of the cabin where the body twists significantly, suppressing unpleasant vibrations and roll overshoot. It achieves both improved steering response and a high-quality ride.

The components incorporate a damper with a damping mechanism that improves steering operability and suppresses minute vibrations that humans can feel. The friction damper, which combines Aisin’s unique mechanical structure of a disc spring + friction plate, is effective even at low extension-stroke speeds, improving steering response and better settling the roll angle compared to oil-type dampers.
