Braided leather from Tochigi, a region committed to vegetable tanning.
This loop key ring uses Tochigi Leather, the only leather manufacturer in Japan that continues to adhere to vegetable tanning to bring out the natural texture of the leather.
No harmful chemicals are used in the tanning process; instead, resin extracted from mimosa bark is used.
The tanning process involves as many as 20 steps, and the craftsmen are committed to providing a level of detail that cannot be replicated elsewhere.
