Developed through an industry-academia partnership with Professor Dai Watanabe of Shibaura Institute of Technology, EDFC5 incorporates “jerk control” to achieve a balance between sharp handling and a smooth ride, automatically generating the vehicle behavior desired by the driver.
Equipped with AI functionality, it delivers an appropriate sense of jerk—free from any unnatural feel—across any driving situation.
Furthermore, while motor noise was noticeable in some vehicles with previous models, a completely redesigned motor control method has reduced operating noise, achieving OEM-like quietness despite being an aftermarket product. The switch from the conventional HTN panel to a VA panel results in a display that is exceptionally beautiful and easy to read.
