Once you turn off the engine, the Brake Hold function resets to OFF. This means you have to manually reactivate it every single time you drive, which can be quite a hassle. For such a convenient feature, having to perform this extra step every time feels like a bit much—perhaps it’s just human nature to want things to be as seamless as possible.

This product is designed to solve that exact inconvenience. Once installed, simply start the engine, close the driver’s door, and fasten your seatbelt. The green “Brake Hold Standby” indicator will automatically illuminate. From there, just press the brake and release; the yellow HOLD lamp will light up, and the car will remain stationary. You can relax your feet while waiting for the light to change.

【Important Notes】

- Safety Features: If you unbuckle your seatbelt or open the driver’s door while the brake is being held, a warning will appear and the parking brake will be forcibly engaged. Additionally, if the vehicle remains held for more than 3 minutes, the parking brake will also engage automatically (consistent with standard factory specifications).
- System Protection: If the engine is started while the vehicle is in a standby mode, the car’s internal protection system may prevent the brake hold from being operated, displaying an error message such as “Brake hold cannot be turned on for system protection.”
- Troubleshooting: In the event of a system protection error, this product’s functions will be temporarily unavailable. Once the system protection is cleared, the product will function normally again. For instructions on how to clear system protection or manage standby modes, please consult your local dealer.
