An “Idling Door Lock Kit” is designed for specific Toyota vehicles.

Compatibility: Fits the Toyota Yaris, Yaris Cross, and GR Yaris.
Function: Allows you to lock the doors while the engine is running, enabling you to keep the air conditioning or heater on during short stops.
Usage: The doors can be locked or unlocked by operating the door lock button on the driver or passenger side while the engine is running.
Safety Note: The kit does not include an anti-theft function, and it is advised not to leave children or pets in the car unattended while using this feature.

Technical & Operation Notes

- Gear Position: The shifter must be locked in the “P” (Park) position for proper operation.
- Security Features: This product does not include anti-theft functionality. Opening the door will not stop the engine or trigger an alarm.
- System Notifications: Warning messages such as “Please turn off the engine” or “Key not found” may appear on the instrument cluster; these are standard responses according to the vehicle’s original specifications.
- T-Connect: Some T-Connect functions may be unavailable while the engine is running and the doors are locked using this product.
- Audio Indicators: A beeping sound may occur for approximately 5 seconds during locking (gasoline models) or unlocking (gasoline and hybrid models). This sound will stop once the door is opened.
